So here it is... Another of the sports legends hasn't quite made up his mind whether or not he has finished with the sport inside the cage.
His last fight was in 2011, which he was beaten by his opponent Josh Koscheck. Here's the interview, of his hinting return.... Now, what we have seen lately is the continuing evolution of the sport, bringing in new combatants who have been changing the blueprint of fighting styles. In doing so the sport passes the 'old school' fighters of yester-year, which yes, is good for the sport, but not so good to the memories we hold of our titans of the cage we once watched and called the best of that time. However.... If rumors are true, this may not be the case in this scenario as "Hughes" opponent for this comeback in the making, is a legend of the sport also, by name and reputation.... Royce Gracie. It may not be fast paced, or filled with non stop action, but never the less... It will be worth the watch just to see these legends in the cage... even if it is only for one more time.

I'm not sure if anyone is aware of this but, not to long ago the N.Z Police force made the news by putting out challenges across the globe to other Police forces.
Well it kinda took off and somehow became a challenge for more than just the Police. I am a Landscaper / Gardener for a retirement village, and guess who jumped on and accepted the Running Man Challenge? thats right, we did :) And here it is. Please ..... be gentle :)

So with all the goings on for the upcoming U.F.C 200 event, we now have conformation for who are headlining the event.
With the withdrawal of Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz 2, it has been announced that it will now be Jon "Bones" Jones Vs Daniel Cormier 2. Whether or not it will attract as many viewers remains to be seen, but never the less..... It's should still be worth the watch and wait.

2015 gave us some wicked match's, Hopefully the trend continues for 2016.
We got a few surprises here and there, and some.... Well not so much. Myself, was shocked at the Weidman vs Rockhold (just as shocked back when Weidman .def Silva), and even the Velasquez vs Werdum fight. It ain't long til UFC 196, where the rematch for the Heavyweight title goes down. I picked Velasquez to win the 1st time round, and well.... Doing so again :) What about you?

QUOTE UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) officially has pulled out of his title fight against rival Conor McGregor (17-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) with a rib injury. UFC President Dana White announced the news on tonight’s edition of “SportsCenter” on ESPN, alongside McGregor. That means the contingency plan the UFC set in place this past week goes into effect, and McGregor will meet two-time title challenger Chad Mendes (17-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) for an interim belt. White said the reason for the interim title, in this case, has to do with Aldo’s history of pulling out of title fights. Does this mean that the main event will now be "Lawler Vs Macdonald"? Should be shouldn't it. |
